Rie knew from a very young age that she was not wanted, her mother's owners were angry at the birth of such obvious mutts out of their prized Australian Shepherd. Her mother was caring and loved her pups, but as soon as they were weened they were taken and practically given away. Boss Singer had been in the town looking for new pups for his business. The small pup soon found a much happier existence with the man.
